HuddleUp ("HuddleUp," "we," "us") is an independent fantasy football app for running your own private leagues. This policy explains what information HuddleUp collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. HuddleUp is not affiliated with the NFL, NFLPA, or any NFL team.
• Account information: your email address, display name, and (optionally) a profile photo you choose to upload.
• League and roster data: leagues you create or join, your team names, rosters, draft picks, waiver claims, trades, and matchup results.
• Messages: direct messages and group chat messages you send to other managers within your leagues.
• Punishment photos/videos: any photos or videos you upload for your league's punishment feature.
• Feed and social content: posts you share to the Feed (matchup and player cards, screenshots, and any drawing or text you add to them), captions, comments, reactions, Pick'em picks, fan cheers, open-seat pitches, and the teams you follow as a fan.
• Reports and blocks: content you report (and why), and the people you block.
• Community-rules agreement: that you confirmed you're 13 or older and agreed to the rules, and when.
• Device/notification data: a push notification token, used only to deliver in-app notifications (new messages, trade offers, etc.) to your device.
We do not collect precise location data, contacts, or browsing history, and HuddleUp contains no advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs. Location data embedded in photos you upload is removed on your device before upload.
Solely to operate the app: authenticate you, sync your leagues and rosters across your devices, deliver notifications you've opted into, and display your name/photo to your leaguemates. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
HuddleUp is built on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions), which stores and processes the information described above on our behalf. Push notifications are delivered through Expo's push notification service using only your device's push token. Player statistics and photos shown in the app are pulled from public sources (nflverse, Wikimedia Commons) and don't involve any of your personal information.
Because HuddleUp is a multiplayer app, your display name, profile photo, roster moves, and league chat messages are visible to other managers in leagues you join — that's the nature of running a shared fantasy league.
When you share to the Feed you choose who sees it: "Everyone on HuddleUp" makes the post — with your display name, league name, the shared card or screenshot, and your caption — visible to every HuddleUp user, who can react and comment. "League only" limits it to your league. Punishment reels follow the visibility you pick when posting. Fans who follow a team can see that team's lineup, scores and fan feed. Anything you make public can be seen (and screenshotted) by others, so don't post personal information.
Anyone can report content or block another user. Reports go to HuddleUp's moderators, who see the reported content, who posted it, who reported it and why. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content or suspend accounts that break the Terms. Content reported by several people may be hidden automatically until it's reviewed. We also automatically block a list of slurs and explicit terms, and limit how often anyone can post.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your login credentials, your personal profile (name, email, push token), your uploaded profile photo, your Feed posts (including their images) and comments, your punishment photos/videos, your fan cheers, and the teams you follow. Because HuddleUp leagues are shared among multiple people, your display name may be replaced with "Deleted User" on historical league records (rosters, past matchups, chat history) rather than removed outright — this keeps your former leaguemates' own league history intact. HuddleUp is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Before posting, users confirm they're 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
